When do Tasks show up?
DocStation presents potential patient care opportunities, or Tasks, for review and intervention based on a variety of clinical and administrative data it receives from providers and payers. Because you continuously dispense prescriptions throughout the month, Tasks will generate throughout the month based on those claims.

How long do I have to address tasks?
Ideally, you'll want to address each Task as soon as possible once it generates on the dashboard, but you have until the end of the day on the last day of the month to address it for credit toward the 100% completion goal. Rest assured, Tasks will never disappear - if you can't address it until after the first of the next month, it will still be in workflow until you can.

It will feel great to see your Tasks Address bar at 100% each month! Don't dismay if a few more Tasks pop into workflow, though. Like we mentioned, more Tasks will generate throughout the month as you dispense more prescriptions.

When do I know the work is complete?
DocStation pauses new task generation four days before the end of the month to give you a chance to get fully caught up to 100%. This is when you will know the work is complete for the month. On the first of the following month, you'll see any tasks that would have generated in the last four days pop into workflow, and you'll be off and running again.
