Dexcom Stelo
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) and Dexcom have teamed up to support our More Than a Script (MTS) eligible members with access to the Stelo over-the-counter (OTC) Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM).
Dexcom Stelo is an over-the-counter CGM indicated for adults without risk of hypoglycemia.
Through this partnership, MTS pharmacies have the opportunity to purchase Dexcom Stelo CGMs at a discounted rate with reimbursement from Blue Cross NC. Please see additional information below.
How To Purchase and Complete the On-Demand Task in the DocStation Platform
The first step is to purchase the Dexcom Stelo sensors directly from Dexcom using the bulk order form (see below for the order form).
Once you purchase Dexcom you will receive an invoice number for the product.
To receive reimbursement from Blue Cross NC you must generate and submit an on demand task on DocStation (see below for how to generate and submit the task).
You will be asked to enter the invoice number to complete the task for reimbursement.
