Tips for Effective Filtering
Start broad, then narrow: Begin with general criteria and add more specific filters as needed
Use date ranges: Filter by date ranges for time-based analysis (e.g., patients with values reported in the last 30 days)
Combine clinical and demographic filters: Create targeted patient segments for outreach or program enrollment
Save frequently used queries: Build a library of saved filters for common reporting needs
Common Use Cases
Identifying patients due for follow-up labs
Finding patients with specific conditions for program enrollment
Generating lists for quality measure reporting
Segmenting patients by insurance type or payer
Locating patients assigned to specific locations or programs
