DocStation is excited to partner with West Virginia Drug Intervention Institute (WV DII) in 2024 as the preferred technology platform of the WV Nalox(ONE) Program! This article will summarize everything participating pharmacies need to know to be successful in the program.
Patient Eligibility
Any patient living in West Virginia that is prescribed an opioid medication is eligible for the WV Nalox(ONE) program. The opioid is not required to be a new medication or new dose to the patient - every Nalox(ONE) encounter conducted with any opioid medication fill is eligible for reimbursement.
Importing Patients to DocStation
This program has no medical or prescription claims data source, so pharmacies will be responsible for importing patients and keeping their records up to date. There are a few different methods to accomplish this in DocStation:
The easiest and most preferred method of importing patients is by utilizing one of DocStation's dispensing system integrations.
Check out the linked help article for instructions on activating dispensing system integrations in DocStation.
Users may import patients in batches using DocStation's CSV import tool. Check out the linked help article for instructions on doing so in the linked help article.
The most burdensome and least preferred method of importing patients is by adding each patient individually. To do so, follow the instructions in the linked help article.
Pharmacy Services

Pharmacy Reimbursement
After the end of each month, DocStation will automatically reimburse pharmacies for program engagement according to the chart below.
NOTE: that each task must be completed to be eligible for reimbursement.
